The SDG Student Ambassadors program offer students a unique opportunity to deepen their understanding of the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), expand their knowledge of environmental and social responsibility, and build valuable professional skills to strengthen their resumes.

Responsibilities of Ambassadors:

• Educating peers on the SDGs and their importance in addressing global challenges.
• Organizing events and programming to promote the SDGs within the university and broader community.
• Delivering presentations to enhance SDG awareness in various settings, including classrooms, student housing, and Registered Student Organization (RSO) meetings.

Skills Development:

As SDG Ambassadors, students cultivate leadership, organizational, and communication skills while gaining hands-on experience in project management, event planning, and program development.

Initiative of Student Climate Ambassadors:

Each SDG Student Climate Ambassador undertakes a personal initiative, on or off campus, that directly contributes to advancing one or more SDGs. At the conclusion of each semester, Ambassadors present their projects at a showcase event, highlighting their achievements and their impact on the SDGs.

Eligibility:

This program is open to all undergradu ate students at OSTIM Technical University. Ambassadors are selected to reflect the diversity of majors and demographics across the university.
